Assure Pro

Assure Pro is AI-native practice management for tax firms. It replaces the stack a typical 2–50 person firm runs — TaxDome or Karbon for workflow, DocuSign for e-signatures, SurePrep for extraction, SmartVault for documents, FreshBooks for billing — with one connected platform.

The core loop

Every feature serves the same loop:

Client → Documents → Workflow → Billing

  1. A client exists with their entities (individual, business, trust, nonprofit), contacts, and one or more engagements.
  2. Documents arrive via intake — magic link, portal upload, drag-and-drop. Assure Pro classifies and extracts them.
  3. The engagement moves through your pipeline (prepare → review → sign → file). Stages auto-advance when checklist items are matched.
  4. Billing captures the value — an invoice goes out, payment lands, the engagement closes.

In small firms one person wears all five hats. That’s fine — Assure Pro gives everyone the same screens and uses permissions to scope what’s visible.

What Assure Pro is not

  • Not tax preparation software. Assure Pro extracts data from source documents and exports it to Drake, ProConnect, Lacerte, or CCH. It doesn’t compute the return.
  • Not a CRM. Prospect tracking and sales pipelines are on the roadmap, not shipped.
  • Not generic project management. Tasks and pipelines exist, but they’re shaped around tax workflows.
  • Not a substitute for a tax advisor. Assure Pro is a tool. Tax advice is your job.

The AI trust model

Assure Pro was built around AI from day one — not bolted on later. But AI never acts on its own when something matters. Anything a client sees, you approve first.
