Engagements

Select a client and Assure Audit shows you a card for every audit service your firm is running for them this year — Financial Audit, EBP Audit, Fund Audit, NFP Audit, or Government Audit. Click a card to open that service’s planning or fieldwork.

This screen is labeled Dashboard in the sidebar and on the page itself. “Engagement” means something different in each AssureOne product anyway — in Assure Pro it’s a workflow pipeline you move through stages, while here it’s this dashboard of active audit services for a client. You don’t create or edit engagements here; they arrive already set up.

What you see

Each engagement card shows:

What you seeWhat it means
Audit service typeFinancial Audit, EBP Audit, Fund Audit, NFP Audit, or Government Audit
Engagement yearThe period the audit covers
Valid untilWhen that engagement period closes

Click a card to open Planning or Fieldwork for that service — whichever the audit type is ready for — or click Assure Docs → on the card to jump straight to that service’s document requests.

Where engagements come from

Assure Audit doesn’t create engagements. When your firm sets up an audit engagement for a client in Assure Pro, it syncs into Assure Audit automatically and appears here as a card. If a service you expect isn’t showing up, check that it’s been set up on the client in Assure Pro first.

Viewing past engagements

Click View All Engagements to open a list of every engagement for the client, including ones whose valid-until date has passed. Expired engagements stay visible for reference — you can still open their fieldwork to review prior-year testing.
