Picking an audit type

Assure Audit organizes work by audit type — Financial, EBP, Fund, NFP, and Government. Select a client, then choose the audit type you’re working on.

Where you land

Opening an audit type takes you to whichever section it’s ready for:

  • Planning — if that audit type has a planning step (currently, only Financial Audit does).
  • Fieldwork — if it doesn’t have a planning step, or you’ve already completed planning.

This is a fixed rule per audit type, not a per-engagement progress check — it doesn’t matter how far along a specific engagement is, only whether that audit type supports planning at all.

  • Planning — the first stop for Financial Audit.
